More than 2 years after the passing of Chicago business, sports legend and World War II veteran Richard L. Duchossois, the foundation that bears his name and dedicates itself to serving the communities that mattered most to him has officially launched, and is formally seeking candidates for the following positions:
These positions will be foundational to launching our philanthropic practices, further defining how we seek to serve these communities and what success looks like. Each director will be responsible for the eventual hiring of the rest of their division’s team. They will also collaborate with the data team in a mutually supportive, ongoing two-way partnership.
The Richard L. Duchossois Foundation (RLDF) is committed to forging new paths and elevating social sector dialogue through our grantmaking and evaluation practices. We fundamentally believe this can only be done through collaboration with other funders, nonprofits, and the community members whose lived experience we place at the center of our practice.
For all positions, your voice and point of view will guide and drive our targeted, issue-based philanthropy – with listening and learning as a crucial element to our strategy, and to the success of our grantees and the communities we jointly serve.
